K1 De Ultimate’s Daughter Damilola Marshal Declares Bid for Surulere Constituency 2 Seat

Damilola Marshal, daughter of Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, has declared her intention to contest for Surulere Constituency 2 seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Marshal, a legal practitioner and current Senior Special Assistant on Tourism to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made the announcement via her Instagram page on Tuesday.

In her declaration, she expressed readiness to represent the constituency, promising to champion youth interests and grassroots development. She emphasised that her over a decade-long legal career has equipped her with the experience needed to drive governance and justice.

“I am ready to serve and lead… I promise to be the voice of the youths in the House,” she stated, while urging voters to prioritise competence and progress.
Marshal also rallied support with the slogan “Youth Lokan!!! Igbega Eko, Ajumose wa ni.”

She is seeking to succeed incumbent lawmaker Mosunmola Rotimi Sangodara, who currently represents the constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The aspirant holds a law degree from North America University in Cotonou and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. She later obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Lagos in 2022. Governor Sanwo-Olu appointed her as SSA on Tourism in May 2024.
